KALEIDOSCOPE

Kaleidoscope Initiative

Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra is back with the next iteration of the Kaleidoscope Initiative.

Kaleidoscope exists to shift what orchestral music looks like, sounds like, and who gets heard. We spotlight voices that are too often left out of the canon—and then we put them exactly where they belong: front and center.

We’re calling for composers who don’t wait their turn—and don’t sound like anyone else.

Three composers will be selected. Three works will be performed live in Philadelphia and professionally recorded and handed back to you—ready to travel further than the stage.
