THE BLACK PEARL CHAMBER ORCHESTRA DEBUTS ON WRTI FM 90.1 SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28th AT 5:00 PM!

As part of Black History Month, WRTI will broadcast the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra led by Maestra Johnson in performances of works by some of the most prominent African-American composers including works by Dr. George Walker, Adolphus Hailstork, Francis Johnson, Ellis Marsalis and William Grant Still.

Oboist Jeremy Kesselman and BPCO Principal Trumpet Rodney Mack solo with the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra and the broadcast will also include a performance by the virtuoso Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass
